Glozel

This is inscription 86/3C in the Glozel Corpus as compiled by Buchanan (who took the photo of the artifact in the Glozel Museum and then computer-enhanced the letters). It probably reads boustrophedon from the upper right, comprising seven lines. No decipherment is available as yet. Buchanan has published some suggested decipherments of Glozel material, but feels much more needs to be done. He is following with great interest the work of Hans-Rudolf Hitz who is presently studying the inscriptions and has made a number of decipherments. Alice Gerard and her husband are working closely with Hitz in his effort to solve the mystery of the Glozel material.
