A zoologist
with a specialty in systematics, evolution and ecology,. he has a lifelong
involvement with museums in both technical and administrative roles. He
has also worked as a technologist in other fields, including mining.
Although not an epigrapher himself, as the son of Barry and Rene Fell he
has enjoyed a front row seat in the drama of epigraphic studies during the
past three decades.
